A Modern Place to Stay in Chedzoy, Somerset
Within 5 minute drive there’s a fresh milk stand in Chedzoy village and a farm shop in nearby village of Bawdrip. Also Tesco express and Co-op just into Bridgwater. Nearest eating place Bower Inn pub restaurant with beer garden.
The surrounding area has plenty of things to see and do. From the Bridgwater Carnival Centre, The Battle of Sedgemoor ground, Avalon Marshes Wetland Centre, Clarks Village shopping outlet, Quantock hills, Burnham on Sea beach, Cheddar Gorge and Caves.
Pubs and restaurants are within 15-20 minute drive away.

We stayed in the lodge for a weekend recently and loved it. It’s a great location not far from the M5 and has great views from the front windows and balcony especially. The internal spaces are well laid out with plenty of light and the furnishings are great quality too. The owners are really nice and very happy to share local knowledge for ideas of days out and local places to eat and drink. We will be booking again soon.
I stayed here with my partner and 2 daughters (2 and 4 years old). We had an amazing family break away and couldn’t recommend this lodge enough! The lodge itself is immaculately presented, extremely clean with amazing facilities compared to other lodges we have stayed in. There was a lovely cot set up for my youngest and the bunk beds provided a lot of entertainment for my eldest! The main bed was incredibly comfortable too so everyone was able to sleep well. This is certainly a luxury lodge, but has a warm and welcoming family appeal at the same time. We will definitely be returning again soon
